About Us
Built for Every Canadian Season
Driftwood Vans was born out of one simple truth — most campervans aren't built for Canada.
We wanted something that could handle –40°C mornings, muddy backroads, and the kind of off-grid adventures that don't end when the weather turns. So we set out to build it ourselves.
What started as a workshop dream in Alberta has become a mission: to design and build four-season, off-grid-ready vans that actually thrive in real Canadian conditions.
Whether you're chasing northern lights, exploring the Rockies, or working remotely on the road, our goal is to make sure your van is as reliable as your sense of adventure.
What We Do
Parts & Components: We're building a curated selection of professional-grade van conversion gear — starting with Espar heating systems and expanding to include more essential components for four-season builds. Check back often as we add new products.
Van Rentals (Coming Soon): Experience the Driftwood difference firsthand in one of our upcoming four-season rental vans.
Custom Conversions (2026): Soon, we'll offer complete custom builds — rugged, quiet, and designed to handle everything our climate can throw at them.
Why "Driftwood"?
Driftwood tells a story of movement, endurance, and time. Like every piece of wood shaped by the current, every van we build is shaped by its journey — built to last, refined by the elements, and crafted with care.
Made in Alberta. Built for the North.
We're proudly based in Alberta, Canada — surrounded by wilderness, mountains, and some of the coldest winters on Earth. That's our testing ground. Every system we design is built to perform here first, because if it can handle Alberta, it can handle anywhere.
